Meet The Founder

Ihab Matar

Ihab Matar

The Founder

 

Ihab Matar serves as the President of the Lebanese Forum, where he oversees the operation, administration, and fundraising of the organization from his home in Sydney, Australia. He ensures the organization remains professional and ethical, as he is often admired for integrity, honesty, and leadership. Ihab was born and raised in Lebanon, and despite living in another region, he continues to have a strong connection with Lebanon and holds a strong belief that every person has the right to a decent, quality life. He is proud to serve as the leader of the Lebanese Forum to bring together the Lebanese community he knows and loves for a greater purpose to serve their home country.

As an Anatomist, Ihab works as a casual academic teaching Human Anatomy at University in Australia. Additionally, as an entrepreneur, Ihab is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of multiple companies with over 15 years of experience in business management. Ihab holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from CQU, a Bachelor of Medical Science in Human Anatomy (Honours) from UNSW and is currently in an advanced stage of his PhD candidature in Human Anatomy at UNSW.
